At Drifter Distribution we have been working with small independent wakeskate companies for the last 6 years, importing quality handmade boards. But having come personally from a wakeboard background originally, when we discovered Vampire Wakeboards in Germany in 2011 we were taken aback by the aesthetic beauty of these boards as well as the impeccable build quality. But their beauty is not just skin deep, they are also a pleasure to ride, gliding through the choppiest water, with torsional strength for holding an edge and flex in the right place for styling it on rails. Vampire have so much confidence in their handcrafted core, unique jib base and armour rails that they come with a 2 year park warranty on any board core failure.

We decided that the UK should not be missing out on such a great product and quickly organised a collaboration with ‘zie Germans'.

They are a great bunch of guys and this is what they say:

'Driven by a passion for board sports and with our knowledge in processing plastics, it was inevitable that we would end up making our own range of boards.

We gained our experience at the FES, the Institute for Research and Development of Sports Equipment (Germany). Combining advanced knowledge with a "simple" idea contributed significantly to making our dream a reality. The design and manufacture of our own boards were beginning to develop, advance and refine, meanwhile, we were also developing and producing boards for famous brands and putting our know-how to good use.

Since 2005 we have been developing and building Wakeboards, Kiteboards, Snowboards, and Longboard Skateboards.’
